Perfect Game says more than 90 percent of 2025 MLB draft picks attended its events

Perfect Game says 92 percent of 2025 MLB draft picks attended its events. The company now plans to license the same path to partners in other countries.

Perfect Game says 92 percent of 2025 MLB draft picks attended its events. The figure comes from a release the company put out through PR Newswire on September 3, 2026. It counts players who showed up at one or more Perfect Game events, not where they trained or were developed.

The same release says Perfect Game runs nearly 10,000 events a year and counts 15,805 of its alumni selected in MLB drafts since 2003. That is a running total across more than two decades of drafts, not a single class.

The release also announced a Country Partner Program. Perfect Game says it will sign exclusive annual licensing agreements with select organizations in each country. The partner runs the events on the ground, and Perfect Game supplies the brand, the marketing, the streaming and the scouting analytics. The path it describes has three steps: regional events, then national showcases, then what the release calls "an international flagship tournament." The release describes the program as an offer and does not name a country where it is already running.

Kash Shaikh, Perfect Game's chief marketing officer and head of international, said in the release that "there's never been a unified international platform for competitive baseball and softball players to get scouted and recruited by the best schools, programs and leagues in the world." The release counts 65 million baseball and softball participants around the world and more than 500 million baseball fans.
